Our composite decking requires minimal maintenance to keep it looking good, normally this would involve washing the decking once or twice a year with soapy water. The deck won’t need staining, sealing or repairing so you are free to spend your time enjoying your decking.
Dura-tec decking is manufactured using, plastic, resin and wood, this gives the material great properties because its impermeable to water. Water ingress is the main reason that causes decking to crack and split, as water soaks into wood it expands and then when it evaporates it shrinks. This stressing of the material causes the boards to crack and then rot through.
